Sunday went much better with the little three-year-old Sunbeams. We had seven in the class again, though we almost had more because of visitors; luckily they were put in a different class. We were much better prepared: we brought stickers and stamps (and a sticker book for each kid), sang songs, colored a lot, went for a walk, and had a lesson. And no one had to go potty! We did have one parent come in because her little boy wouldn't stop hitting the other kids and coloring on the chairs, but the other kids were very well behaved for the most part (especially during the sticker part). We know the children's names and are learning who their parents are. And we found out that no one has any food allergies or restrictions, which means we can bring snacks. Although we need to improve more, we are on the right track. After all, it was only our second time teaching. Next week our lesson is "Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love Me."

sounds like fun! 3 is such a fun age and much calmer than when they are just a bit younger and just a bit older. I also love how much they want approval at 3, it's so cute.
Jake and I had the 3 year olds when we first moved to our ward. It's like the inevitable calling :) There are lots of online resources to help make it fun (if you didn't know that already). Oh and as for the voting, I can't really vote, cuz Jazz isn't even on the list, nor is contemporary!!
To ditto Jamie, there's tons of blogs and stuff for extra activities. Doing straight out of the manual does not work for our class! We've got to be quick and keep them entertained, otherwise, they get bored and so crazy! But it's good to here that you guys seem to have such a handle on things so fast!
